I feel like what ever you want to throw at me, I can handle.
I know that some people want to go by the clipper numbers and I am totally fine with that, but I would rather you tell me how you want it to look and what style you are looking for so I can give you exactly what you want and/or need. That is so much more important to me!
My regular (and I assume, satisfied) clients range from tight curls to straight thin hair and in whatever what style you can think of. If you can dream it, I enjoy a challenge. I do flat tops, high tops, skin fades, long hair, and I consider myself a pretty good beardsmith (not a real word, I know). I even make my own beard oil. The gist is…….I don’t suck.

Frank is from the LA area and served in the United States Marine Corps as a cold weather survival specialist at the Mountian Warfare Training Center in Bridgeport, CA. He is heavy into serving at his church and is one of the best barbers I've ever seen with kids.

He has been barbering on and off for nearly 20 years and as a former shop owner, he has seen and heard it all. In fact, barbering runs in the family. Quite literally, whatever you throw at him he can handle. From long to short, straight to tight curls, and old school tapers to new school fades, he is your guy!
When he got his start in the business, Frank worked beside very experienced barbers and it shows. His style has an old school feel, but he has definitely kept up with the current trends.
About as nice as he is talented, we are blessed and excited that he made the move to Maricopa to join our community, and our shop.

This man is an absolute wizard with the scissors, not unlike his brother Frank. Sam has spent the last 3 years right here in Maricopa and he has been a barber now for almost 20 years. He origanally hails form Southern California, where he owned a barbershop with his brother. He loves his job, he loves people and it shows!

Sam is very passionate about his church and the work he does there. He is currently serving and overseeing the children's ministry at Calvary Chapel, Maricopa. He has three boys and ironically two of them are growing out their hair.This craft is well suited for Sam. He is detail oriented, time conscious and always makes sure that what you want is what you get. We are so happy to have a man of the community, a man of faith and a man with such amazing skill working beside us!
Carlos Hernandez - Barber
Carlos apprenticed with us for over a year and has really come into his own. He graduated and passed the boards with flying colors and he has been with us now for 2 years and we are so proud of the quality barber he has become!
Originally from El Paso, Texas, Carlos has now lived in Arizona for six years and has been in the city of Maricopa for the last three. It's no wonder he has taken to this craft so easily, he comes from a family of barbers and it shows. Like many barbers, Carlos got his start cutting his family and friend's hair back home. He is good for just about any cut and isn't afraid to take on new challeges.
You may notice has calm demeanor, but don't let that fool you. Just ask him about any sport (literally any sport) and he's off and running.
Brayan Perez - Barber
Brayan has been married for nearly a decade and is the father of twins. He's been cutting hair for a little more than that and owned his own barbershop before he moved to Arizona. He hails from Bakersfield, California where he started cutting out of his garage at the age of 14.
He is comfortable with cutting anything from the timeless classics to the trendy new styles. More importantly he prefers the variety. We are excited to have another family man with good values on our team!
Brittney Jaquez- Men's Stylist
She is a newcomer to our city so let's all make her feel welcome! Having just moved from El Paso, Texas, she is starting to settle in nicely. She has been cutting hair for over three years and has focused most of her efforts on men's styles. Eager to learn and eager to improve herself daily, Britt has proven herself to be a big asset to our crew in the short time she has been with us.
Brittney has ambitions to own her own business one day and would love to travel the world. In her spair time she likes to play the piano. She graduated from Eastlake High School in 2020 and is the first person in her family to get in to the hair business. She has a twin sister and seems to be very close with her family. All in all, she is the type of person that fits our family well.
Chris Birt
Chris comes to us from Oregon and has only been in Maricopa for a short while. He is a family man with 6 kids who moved out to Arizona to be with his new wife in his new house. With all that in mind he is a great new addition and fits in very well with our crew. He has been cutting hair for 4 years, but as a late bloomer in the field, he is already one of the better barbers we've worked with.
Chris is great with kids and always good for a conversation on pretty much any topic. He is an Army veteran who worked on tanks and was stationed in Korea. Come in and give Chris a chance. You won't be disappointed!
Miguel Gomez
Miguel has been with us since he was 14! He started as a shop boy, sweeping up and cleaning up after the rest of us dirty barbers, and now after a year and a half of apprenticeship he has earned his stripes. He was not born here in Maricopa but he has been here the majority of his life.
A graduate of Maricopa high School, Miguel attended the ROTC program and the police cadet program. As well as, taking on his Barber apprenticeship throughout his senior year. As much as we give him a hard time, it goes without saying that he is an overachiever! Please don't let his age or his experience fool you, this young man has become a legit barber.
Hercules Gaines
Our latest and greatest addition to the barbershop family, Hercules is no stranger to our style. He came to Maricopa from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho where he owned two family style neighborhood barber shops. Hailing originally from South Carolina, his Southern hospitality fits right in with the atmosphere of the shop.
Hercules is now the 5th veteran Barber on our staff having served in the Navy for 4 years. He moved to Arizona to be closer to family. More specifically is young grandson and he has doven right in to the community by serving with our local food bank.
It is so very great to have another great human being who is also a good Barber joining our team. Book with him and you will be guaranteed a great conversation and a great cut!
Jon Belanger - Apprentice Barber
Our talented apprentice comes to us, originally, from Southern California. He was stationed in Tacoma, Washington where he served 4 years in the Navy in Minesweep Operations. Jon is very active in the Maricopa veteran community and is a member of a local military motorcycle riding club. It would be easy to say that helping veterans in need is his passion.
As a quintessential blue collar guy, he spent over 20 years in logistics and transportation. Previously having his CDL, CDL instructor and working as a recruiter he retired in 2024 and moved on to this new vocation. He is very clearly showing an act for cutting hair and definitely has a passion for it. He's hoping to perfect his techniques here with us and we are glad to have him!
